看看這世間的變遷和天災人禍，我是否太過自私？只懂關心自己的感受？若每人能踏出多一點點，這個世界一定會變得更美好。在2004年底南亞海潚，我剛剛獨自留在香港享受一個頹廢的假期，我的表哥卻在PP 島受了傷。當時我一個人留在家中，地上散著連日來的生果報、方向報。我望著這些報紙，想著︰其實所有不快樂﹙工作壓力、朋友紛爭和關係等等﹚都是來自我狹窄的眼光。世界是那麼大，不幸有那麼多，我還埋怨什麼？不如踏出多一點來回報天主的眷顧吧。”
